Bossmade WellFit Expo 2019 was a great success!
We had 87 attendees, 15 vendors, 4 hosting businesses, and one amazing committee. Each vendor was presented to the audience by Melanin Connection detailing their products & services. We enjoyed the witty commentary from our hosts; published runway model Brickell French and Comedian Mike Jay. There was an intense and heartfelt health panel discussion raising awareness about harmful chemicals in everyday foods, hair care products, and more. Next we had a fitness party where everyone was invited to learn and engage in a live fitness class. Finally everyone was invited to dance and celebrate the amazing connections that were being made and the beneficial information we had all enjoyed learning together. When all was said and done, we had nothing but smiles and great energy as we imagined how amazing next year's Expo would be!
Bossmade WellFit Expo 2020 Considering the current circumstances, the 2020 BMW Expo will be held both in-person and through a virtual platform. Masks, gloves and sanitizer stations will be available for each ticket holder.
In lieu of all that has occurred with Covid-19 and The George Floyd Protests, it is more important this year than any previous year to support one another. With rumor of a changing market, awareness of who and what exists in our local network is vital! Whether by uplifting and supporting our local small black businesses who have taken huge losses, or by giving life-changing and quite possibly life-saving knowledge to every individual, we can heal and empower our community in a huge way. This year the Bossmade Wellfit Expo will serve as that platform that not only makes it possible to give back but also makes it an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Invite all your friends and family of all backgrounds and races to support and help our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
